STUDENT COUNSELLOR/PSYCHOLOGIST
Part time [0.4-0.6FTE] commencing Term 1 2025
We are looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced counsellor or psychologist to join our wellbeing team, commencing beginning of 2025 school year.
Experience in engaging and providing psychological support to adolescents with diverse needs is essential, particularly in the context of the secondary school environment. Knowledge and experience in cognitive and educational assessments and the ability to support the implementation of recommendations is a smaller though important part of this role.
✔️ Psychologist applicants must have full registration with AHPRA, Psychology Board of Australia.
✔️ Counselling applicants accredited by the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) is desirable, but not essential
- All applicants must carry/obtain up to date Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
💬 Whilst the position description refers to a psychologist we will consider suitably qualified counsellors to fulfill the role as well. It is advertised as a 0.4-0.6FTE, the time fraction and days are negotiable.

With the opening of our new STEM Centre in Term 4 and exciting developments across the College, we are seeking a passionate and experienced educator for the NEW role of Deputy Principal (Staff Development and Culture) to lead, motivate, and challenge our staff in fostering a positive, collaborative culture focused on the growth and wellbeing of both staff and students.
This pivotal role will focus on building professional development initiatives, promoting staff wellbeing, and upholding the Catholic mission and identity of the school. The Deputy Principal will work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to drive professional excellence while nurturing a culture of care, growth, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a high-performing, positive school culture

We are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher for the position of Director of Curriculum, Data and Pedagogy to lead, motivate, and challenge our staff in delivering an innovative and high-quality curriculum tailored to meet the specific needs of our students.
This pivotal role focuses on using data-driven insights to enhance teaching practices, supporting staff development through instructional leadership, and promoting collaboration across faculties. The Director will work closely with the Principal and Deputy Principals to ensure the continuous improvement of teaching and learning outcomes while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and utilisation of data to drive curriculum planning and improve student outcomes
- Foster professional growth through instructional leadership and building Professional Learning Teams (PLTs)
- Ensure the delivery of contemporary and innovative curriculum across all learning areas
- Oversee the design and implementation of formative and summative assessments
- Support staff in aligning their teaching practices with AITSL standards and evidence-based pedagogical methods
- Promote a collaborative culture within the College, enabling staff to share skills, knowledge, and ideas.
The position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will hold an ongoing teaching role on appointment, with a leadership tenure of 2 years. Ideally the successful candidate will also be able to cover a teaching load (0.67FTE) in an area the school is currently seeking to fill. This will not be a limiting factor should the applicant otherwise be a right fit for the school.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR of STUDENTS (Years 10-12)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for student wellbeing for the position of Assistant Director of Students (Years 10-12) . This role will assist in fostering student wellbeing and ensuring the smooth coordination of activities for Years 10-12, working closely with the Director of Students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Students to support the welfare, discipline, and academic progress of students
- Assist in managing student behaviour and adherence to the College's Behaviour Management Policy
- Oversee the implementation of pastoral care programs in line with College guidelines
- Monitor the delivery of key year-level activities, such as the Year 12 Formal and Year 10 Work Experience
- Foster a caring, orderly learning environment that supports students' personal development and wellbeing
The position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will hold a full-time ongoing teaching role on appointment, with a leadership tenure of 2 years. The successful candidate will ideally be able to fulfil an existing teaching role in Maths, Science, or English, although this is not a limiting factor for applicants who are otherwise the right fit for the school.
